It Gets Better

The “It Gets Better Campaign” targets lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth with a simple message: “It Gets Better.”  In September 2010, columnist Dan Savage started the campaign to send a message to teenagers that bullying does end.

I join President Obama, Vice President Biden, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senator Franken, and several others in posting a video.

If I am elected to Congress, I will join Representatives Ellison, McCollum and Walz in co-sponsoring the “Student Non-Discrimination Act.”  Senator Franken is the Senate Sponsor and Senator Klobuchar is a co-sponsor.
